Who We Are

With the closing of the American bases and the consequent exit of the Boy Scouts of America, a vacancy was created in the leadership and organization of the Ocean to Ocean Cayuco Race.

The Balboa Paddle Club(CREBA) was founded in 2000 by a group of adults and adolescent volunteers in order to fill the vacancy and to keep the tradition of 49 years of the Cayuco Race alive. Together we have more than 100 years of experience in the Ocean to Ocean Cayuco Race.

We are a non profit Club dedicated to the promotion of the sport of paddling and the conservation of the water shed of the Canal. We count on the support of the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá (ACP) to carry out the Ocean to Ocean Cayuco Race and we are registered in the National Institute of Sports (INDE).

Quiénes Somos

Con el cierre de las bases Norteamericanas y la consecuente salida de los Boy Scouts de América, se creó un vacío en la directiva y organización de la Regata de Cayucos Océano a Océano.

El Club de Remos de Balboa (CREBA) fue fundado en el 2000 por un grupo de adultos y adolescentes voluntarios con el fin de llenar este vacío y mantener viva la tradicional Regata de Cayucos Oceano a Oceano de 49 años. Juntos contamos con más de 100 años de experiencia en la Regata de Cayucos Océano a Océano.

Somos un Club sin fines de lucro dedicado a la promoción del deporte de remo y a la conservación de la cuenca del Canal. Contamos con el apoyo de la Autoridad del Canal de Panamá (ACP) para llevar a cabo la Regata de Cayucos Océano a Océano y estamos registrado en el Instituto Nacional de Deportes (INDE).
