About Us

With the closure of U.S. bases and the subsequent departure of the Boy Scouts of America, created a vacuum in policy and organization of the Regata de Cayucos Ocean to Ocean.

The Club de Remos de Balboa (CREB) was founded in 2000 by a group of adults and young volunteers to fill the void and keep alive the traditional Regatta Cayucos Oceano Oceano 49. Together we have over 100 years of experience in Cayucos Race Ocean to Ocean.

We are a nonprofit club dedicated to promoting the sport of rowing and the conservation of the basin of the Canal. We have the support of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) to bring out the Regatta Cayucos Ocean to Ocean and are registered with the National Sports Institute (INDE).
 
Mission

Promote the sport of canoeing and young adults through a computer program that emphasizes endurance and healthy competition in the environment with an atmosphere of awareness to the environment and social responsabilidiad to the watershed of the Panama Canal.

 
Vision

Preserving the tradition that began in 1954 to encourage youth and adults of the town to paddle in Cayucos, built by our indigenous people along the waters of the Panama Canal, to promote the appreciation of those typical of native wealth Republic of Panama highlighting especially those things as indigenous traditions, flora and fauna, as well as the Panama Canal.
