Cayucos use regulations
1. Objectives: The Club de Remos de Balboa (CREBA), in order to provide canoes to participants in the races organized by CREBA, has established these rules and conditions for use of canoes of CREBA.
2. Compliance with rules: The use of canoes CREB is a privilege, and should be considered as such. CREBA reserves the right to deny use of their canoes if it determines by majority vote of the Board that those assigned a canoe are not complying with these rules.
3. Payments: The cost of membership of CREBA, registration for the race from ocean to ocean, and the use of canoe deposit CREBA must be paid in full to receive a canoe. See the updated list of CREBA charges (including charges for membership and registration for the events of the season).
Deposit: In addition to membership dues and registration fees to the various events during the season, winning the club's canoes must pay a deposit for use of the dugout during the season CREBA. This deposit will be refunded once the canoe and trailer have been returned undamaged to CREBA at the end of the season.
To receive a canoe: Once a team has won in the raffle of canoes, the crews must: participate in clinical canoes and pass a shipwreck, having paid the membership CREBA registration for the Ocean to Ocean Race and having made the deposit of CREBA utilizaciónn the dugout.
Responsibilities: Teams receiving a canoe CREBA for use during the season, will have to maintain, repair and prepare for the races, like the trailer used to move the canoe.
4. Availability: cayucos obtained during the raffle can not be rented, lent or transferred in any way. If a private canoe owner wishes to participate in the raffle of CREB, will have to provide free his canoe to be raffled in this raffle. Any canoe participating in the lottery must follow the rules set out in section 5 of this memorandum. The private canoe will be returned to its owner after the Ocean to Ocean Race. If we percatásemos a canoe club that is being used only for practice purposes and is not intended to be used for crew races the Club reserves the right to reposition the canoe and return it to the next alternate.
Safety: All safety rules in the Manual of Regulations are strictly enforced CREBA. CREBA officials will monitor the areas of practice to ensure compliance with these rules. In the canoes was told not to practice without the use of the tools mentioned in these rules. These are:
a. A life jacket for each rower
b. A whistle-board air
c. Each paddler must wear water shoes or closed
d. A container for canoe tied to shrinking water
e. A white cloth to signal emergencies.
CREBA reserves the right to deny use of their canoes if it determines by majority vote of the Board that those assigned a canoe are not complying with these rules. This point is also applicable to private canoes. A crew that violates these rules will be disqualified from the race and can not compete with the assigned dugout canoe or any other (private or not).
